Water History Park - Master Plan and Exhibit Design

Canyon Road Preservation Association ~ Santa Fe, NM

In 1915, three years after New Mexico became a state, the new state capitol city traded away the water rights to its only river in exchange for running water and electrical power in the city. The power plant still stands in a small city park. Exhibits tell the continuing story of the struggle to provide water for all the needs of a thirsty city.
