Thousand Springs Visitor Center
Idaho State Parks and National Park Service ~ Hagerman, ID
Contained within Idaho’s Thousand Springs State Park is the Hagerman Fossil Beds National Monument. The visitor Center is shared between the State and National Parks. Exhibits focus on the role of water in creating the Snake River Valley and sustaining life there from the Pliocene Era to the current day. Star of the show is a skeletal mount of the Hagerman horse, the Idaho State Fossil.
