Stockpile Stewardship Exhibit

Bound by international agreement, The United States has not conducted explosive tests of nuclear weapons since 1992. However we need to insure that our stockpile of these weapons remains safe, secure, and reliable. This exhibit show how we test without exploding by using lasers, x-rays, and sub-critical experiments. The data collected is then analyzed by the world’s most powerful and sophisticated computers.
